LAE is an initiative launched by Kazamedia non profit arm ITvism, in partnership with the UNESCO office in Beirut.

This initiative was the result of UNESCO’s focus on activating the role of youth and the importance of strengthening media education that stresses on teaching female and male youth on how to deal with the media content and discuss it in a critical yet constructive manner.

Furthermore, this initiative revolves around building youth capacities to produce media content that addresses their needs and priorities, and conveys their voice in an effective manner. In this framework a cooperation materialized between UNESCO’s association and ITvism association through “Net Med Youth” a regional project, funded by the European Union and implemented in nine countries including Lebanon. This project aims at empowering youth and engaging them in the public life at all levels.
